Solution dekh ke to Pythagorus bhi hath jod le.......

Question:

Two parallel chords of length 8 cm and 6 cm of a circle of radius 5 cm are on the same side of centre then find the distance of one chord from another chord.

Options:
A)

6 cm

B)

24 cm

C)

3 cm

D)

1  cm

Solution:

Required distance = (difference of chord)/2

=(8-6)/2=2/2

= 1 cm
