33.3 % profit is used to calculate the respective shares, which is wrong. It looks like i am practicing reasoning questions of the topic "spot the errors" rather than mathematics which i actually should be doing!

Question:

Two partners invest Rs.17000 and Rs.13000 respectively in a business and agree that 66 23   % of profit should be divided equally between them and the remaining profit is to be treated as interest on capital. If one partner gets Rs.532 more than the other. Find the total profit made in the business.

THIS TIME ANSWER IS CORRECT..BECOZ 66 2/3% WILL MAKE NO EFFECT ON THE PROFIT AMOUNT AS IT IS EQUALLY DIVIDED ..ONLY REST PART i.e., 33 1/3% WILL EFFECT THE CHANGE IN THEIR PROFITS.
