There are 19 students given in the question
but in answer its written 20 its wrong

Question:
A group of 1400 consisting of teachers and students are going for an education tour. For every 19 students, there is one teacher. The number of teachers in the group is:
Options:
A) 70
B) 90
C) 80
D) 100
Solution:
Ans(a): 70

Clearly, out of every 20 persons, there is one teacher.

So, number of teachers = \(\frac{1400}{20}\)   

= 70.

its not wrong. its right ..
make a pair .. as per question..

19+1=20 .that means if we choose 19 students then there will be 1 teacher in that group. total =20

now to make 1400 equivalent to the 20 ..divide it by 20=70 answer.

Its so obvious that a team will have = 19 Students + 01 teachers = 20 People, so 1400 will be divided by 20 which will be equal to 70, so there are 70 team, each team consisting of 01 teacher, hence 70 teachers are there. Hope you got it.
