let price of B=100
then A's price = 80
and c's price = 200/3
now, in 9600 rs, the person purchased=9600/80 articles = 120 articles
now if he purchases 60 articles from B, his expenditure will be = 60x100 = 6000
and the cost of rest 60 being bought from c will be = 200/3x60=4000
therefore, his total expenditure now is 10,000. so he has incurred a loss of rs 400 as compared to the earlier transaction.

Question:

A sells his articles to B in less than 20% and sells to C more than 20%. A man bought some article at Rs. 9,600 from A. If he bought half articles from B and half articles from C, is his business profitable to him and how?
