the answer is wrong (Question: 463279.0 )

total marks =400
passing markd=200

since 20% correspond to 80 marks which implies that 40% corresponds to 160 marks which is less that 40 marks from passing as per question .
hence the passing marks shld be 200

Question:

When a student score 60% marks then he is passed with 40 marks. But when a student score 40% marks then he is failed by 40 marks. Find pass marks.
