spotting the error (Question: 112877.2 )

in this question, two error can be considered. first in part A and second is in Part B, if I add possessive adjective before guide, it will b correct.
how i should decide that which one is correct A or B.

Solution:
Ans: (b) are living with me 

It should be 'is living with me' as it refers to only one person
