  1. A village having a population of 4000 requires 150 liters of water per head per day. If has a tank measuring 20 m × 15 m × 6 m. The water of this tank will last for –
Options:
A) 2 days
B) 3 days
C) 4 days
D) 5 days
Solution:

Ans: (b)

Daily need of water = 4000 x 150

Amount of water in tank = 20 x 15 x 6 x 1000

Number of days = Amount of water / Daily need

= (20 x 15 x 6 x 1000) / (4000 x 150) = 3 days
