@vivek let's say initially both are at 12, after 60 min hours is at 1 and minutes hand at 12. So, in 60 min they traveled 55 min spaces apart.

At 4’o clock, the hour hand is at 4 and the minute hand is at 12, i.e., they are 20 min spaces apart.

To be together, the minute hand must gain 20 minutes over the hour hand.

Now, 55 minutes are gained in (60/55)*20 min = 21 and 9/11

So, the hands will coincide at 21 and 9/11 min past 4.
