that 0 is dividing the whole equation , so when we do conversion of sign acc. to question, then the divide sign will change into multiplication and we will get 0.

If ‘+‘ means ‘÷’, ‘-‘means ‘+’, ‘x’ means ‘– ’ and ‘÷’ means ‘×’, what will be the value of the following expression? 


Options:
A) Infinite    
B) 0
C) 118 
D) 219

Ans: (b)The given expression is 

             

Using the symbols correctly as given in the above question, the above expression becomes

[{(17 - 12) + (4 × 2)} ÷ (23 + 6)] x 0 = 0
