can you please provide detailed solution

Question:

In an obtuse-angled triangle ABC, A is the obtuse angle and is the orthocenter. If BOC = 54°, then BAC is:

Options:
A)

108°

B)

126°

C)

136°

D)

116°

Solution:

In quadrilateral OPAQ,

∠POQ + OQA + QAP + APO = 360°

54° + x° + 90° + 90° = 360°

\(\Rightarrow\) x° = 126°

Now, PAQ = BAC (vertically opposite angle)

\(\Rightarrow\) ∠BAC = 126°
