the solution is quite simple
let total time be T which is give (difference of 7am and 1 pm)=6hrs
t2= time cycling,diatance =d;
t2 = time walking,distance =d;
A/Q:
T= t1+35+t2
6hrs= (d/10)+(35/60)+(d/1)
after solving d= 325/66

Question:
I started on my bicycle at 7 a.m. to reach a certain place. After going a certain distance my bicycle went out of order. Consequently I rested for 35 minutes and came back to my house walking all the way. I reached my home at 1 p.m. If my cycling speed is 10 km/hr and my walking speed is 1 km/hr, then how much distance is  covered by me on my bicycle?
Options:
A) \(12\cfrac{3}{7}\) km
B) \(13\cfrac{4}{9}\) km
C) \(14\cfrac{3}{8}\) km
D) \(4\cfrac{61}{66}\) km
Solution:
Ans: (d)

Let the distance covered by bicycle be x km.
