A:b:C=80:25:62.5(aNNUAL)
62.5=600000
A=600000*80/(62.5*12)
=64000

Question:

25% of annual salary of A is equal to 80% of annual salary of B. Monthly salary of B is 40% of monthly salary of C. Annual salary of C is ₹6 lac. What is the monthly salary of A?

Options:
A) \(\unicode{x20B9} \)56,000
B) ₹60,000
C) ₹62,000
D) ₹64,000
Solution:

Ans (d)

Monthly salary of C =600000/12

= Rs.50000

B's monthly salary = (50000\(\times\)40)/100

= Rs.20000

Annual salary of B= 20000\(\times\)12

= 240000

Now; Let annual salary of A = \(x\)

(\(x\) \(\times\)25)/100 =(240000\(\times\)80)/100

=25\(x\)=240000\(\times\)80

\(x\)=(240000 \(\times\)80)/25

=768000

Monthly salary of A= 768000/12

=Rs. 64000.
