solution please why is option Dwrong ?

Question:
DIRECTIONS: In each of the following questions, choose the set of numbers out of the four options that is similar to the given set.
Given set : (256, 64, 16)
Options:
A) (160, 40, 10)
B) (144, 36, 9)
C) (80, 20, 5)
D) (64, 32, 8)
Solution:
Each number of a given set is a perfect square and is four times the next number.

Dear student
The pattern followed here is-
every next (immediate left ) number
is four times of its immediate right
number.
Given set - 16*4 = 64, 64*4 =256
similarly - 9*4 = 36, 36* 4 =144
and option (d) is not following the
question pattern
