Alkali is counted twice

Question:

In a row, Anjali if shifted to her right by three places becomes fifteenth from the right end of the row. Kaveri who is thirteenth from left end of the row, is third to the left of Anjali. How many students ire there in the row?

Total number of studehts = 12 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 14 = 33

Dear Student,
When Anjali was shifted to her right by three places , she became 15th from right end .
So in original arrangement she would have been 18th from right end.
And Kaveri is 13th from right end and third to left of Anjali , it means that there are 2 persons between them.
Therefore total persons = 18 + 13 + 2 = 33
