2000*1.1 *1.1*1.05*1.05*1.05

roughly think two times 1.1 is 1.21

2*1.21 = 2.42 we got nearly 2400

now the time 5% increase almost little bigger 15 % so (2400 * 15%) that is 360

so answer near about 2400+360 =2760 little bigger than it

Question:

The population of a village is 2000, if there is an increament of 10% in the first 2 years and 5% in the last three years then what will be the population after five years (approx.)?

Options:
A) 2500
B) 2800
C) 3000
D) 3200
Solution:
Ans: (b) Population= 2000×1.1×1.1×1.05×1.05×1.05\(\approx\)2800 (approx.)

nice bro..10+10+5+5+5=35% increment= 35% of 2000=700-----answer is definitely greater than 2000+700(=2700)----but not much, so 2800
