What is the value of 144 $ 16 «7 # 9 ?

I. ‘$’ means ‘÷’, ‘«’ means ‘×’ and ‘#’ means ‘+’.

II. 16 $ 4 « 2 # 2 = 21.

Options:
A) The data in Statement I alone are sufficient to answer the question, while the data in Statement II alone are not sufficient to answer the question.
B) The data in Statement II alone are sufficient to answer the question, while the data in Statement I alone are not sufficient to answer the question.

or,  ? = 144  ÷  16 × 7 + 9
or, ? = 9 × 7 + 9
