A cyclist in a fog passed a man running at the rate of 6 km/hr in the same direction. He could see the cyclist for 5 minutes and it was visible to him upto a distance of 100 metres. What was the speed of the cyclist ?

C) 9 km/hr 
D) 3.6 km/hr 
Solution:
Ans: (a) Let the speed of cylist = x km/hr

The speed of man = 6 km/hr

Relative speed = (x – 6) km/hr
