why prospects cannot be used....it also suits the sentence...and does makes sense

Options:

B) prospect

D) adorn 
Solution:
Ans: (a) 'Decor' is the word that should replace the blank. (D) adorn won't be suitable for use. The option (A) is definitely the most appropriate one, as the sentence talks about traditional decoration.

Both the options (B) prospect and (D) adorn cannot be used as (B) prospect isn't related to the context
