Shouldn't it be "Staring at it's face?" (Question: 26436.10 )

Is the question is incorrect? Is starting at it's face an idiom?

Question:
Directions : In the following questions, the Ist and the last sentences/parts of the passage/sentence are numbered 1 and 6. The rest of the passage/sentence is split into four parts and named P, Q, R and S. These four parts are not given in their proper order. Read the passage/sentence and find out which of the four combinations is correct. Then find the correct answer.
1.The bee has no sense of proportion.

P.It goes about collecting honey.
Q.It has never learnt to spend.
R.As though starvation was starting it at its face.
