should - advised (Question: 383412.9 )

if the sentence was given in the tense that u say here, then would the replacement of "said" with "advised" ?? because there is word "should" in the sentence.

Solution:

 Ans:(c) Change 'rains' into 'rained'. As reporting verb is in past tense so reported speech should  be also in past tense.
