Three pipes P, Q and R can fill a tank in 6 hours, after working it together for two hours, R is closed and P and Q can fill the remaining part in 7 hours. How much time will R take alone to fill the tank?

Total work = 42
1 hr work of P+Q+R = 7
2 hr work = 14
remaining work = 28
P and Q can do this in 7hrs
1 hr work of P+Q = 4
1hr work of R = 7-4=3
time taken by R = 42/3=14
