There are benches in a classroom. If 4 students sit on each bench, three benches are left vacant and if 3 students sit on each bench, 3 students are left standing. The total number of students in the class is:

Options:
A) 36
B) 42
C) 48
D) 54
Solution:
Ans: (c) If N is number of benches  

Then 4 (N-3) = 3 N + 3

4N - 12 = 3N + 3

N = 15

So Students 15 x 3 + 3 = 48 Students
