A) 27

Solution:
Ans (A) In the following figure;


Smallest Triangles = ∆NGQ, ∆OHR, ∆PDO, ∆NDP, ∆JIC, ∆ICK = 6

Single Triangles = ∆EMJ, ∆ KLF, ∆EQI, ∆PHI, ∆PGI, ∆FRI = 6

Triangle formed with two triangles= ∆ADM, ∆DBL, ∆DNO, ∆DQI, ∆DRI, ∆CJK, ∆GHI, ∆DEI, ∆DIF,∆DLC, ∆DMC  = 11

Triangles formed with three triangles= ∆ADC, ∆DBC=2

Largest triangles= ∆ABC, ∆EDF = 2

∴ Total triangles = 6 + 6 + 11 + 2 +2  = 27.
