Question:
DIRECTIONS: In the following questions, some of the sentences have errors and some have none. Find out which part of a sentence has an error. If there is no error, mark “No Error” as your answer.

I was having a holiday (a)/ by seaside last summer (b)/ when I ran into captain Robinson. (c)/ No error (d)

Options:
A) (a)
B) (b)
C) (c)
D) (d)
Solution:
Ans: (a)I was having a holiday

Have means to possess or own, having can also be used in the context of some work that has been completed, Having something done is different from using the word 'having' in normal context.  'Having'shows possession/having something whereas 'Having something done' means accomplished or finished something

Here, I was spending a holiday or I was on a holiday should be used.
