then we find the value of x is 14
but remaining as well we add
then the total part of b will be24
correct answer should be 24 as far as i concern

Question:

Two mixture A and B are taken which contains water and alcohal in the ratio 7 : 5 and 3 : 2 respectively. Total quantity of mixture B is 5 Litre. Some mixture of A is taken out and mixed with B such that now the ratio of water and alcohal in B becomes 17 : 12. If 10 litres of A is remaining now, then initially what quantity of mixture A was taken  –

solve again the above equation will give you x=24 and answer will be 24+10=34

use alligation. mixture A se 24 liya hai and remaining 10 . so ,34 ltr is correct
