I think there is some issue with the options . Please look into the matter.

Question:
DIRECTIONS: In the following question, a sentence has been given in Active/Passive Voice. Out of the four alternatives suggested, select the one which best expresses the same sentence in Passive/Active Voice.

By whom were you taught English in the school?

Options:
A) Who taught you English in the school
B) Who teach you English in the school
C) Who taught you English in the schools
D) None
Solution:
Ans: (a) Who taught you English in the school

The question words when, why, where, how or what does not change their position at the beginning of the sentence when the active voice is changed into the passive voice. Note that whochanges to by whom and whom into who.

Active: Who has done this work?

Passive: By Whom has this work been done?

Active voice: Who wrote this book?

Passive voice: By whom was this book written?

Whom did you invite? (Active Voice)

Who was invited by you? (Passive Voice)
