The Function of DNA is to transfer genetic information from one generation to next generation.
The Function of RNA is to direct synthesis of proteins in the body.
This flow of information is dependent on the genetic code, which defines the relation between the sequence of bases in DNA (or its mRNA transcript) and the sequence of amino acids in a protein.
So this transformation done by mainly DNA with the help pf RNA. thus required answer is option (D).
