Sir, these type of wrong questions and answers kill 3-4 minutes of ours in the test - first by solving the wrong question, then finding that the answer doesn't match, and then again rechecking the solution approach. It's the time during which we could have attempted another 4-5 questions. Thus, our real scores and percentiles don't get reflected in every test and we don't get to know our real rank.
It's a humble request to you that please check the questions and answers first before putting them in the test so that we are able to get the maximum benefit of the test series.

Question:

A circle of radius 5 cm has chord RS at a distance of 3 units from it. Chord PQ intersects with chord RS at T such that TS =  13   of RT. Find the value of PQ, if PT = 8 cm.

A)

9.5  cm

B)

8.5 cm

C)

6 cm

D)

8 cm

Solution:

Ans: (a)

  

PQ= PT + TQ

     = 8 + 1.5

      = 9.5 cm
