answer should be 2250...correct me if i am wrong...1440*1.25*1.25=2250

Question:

A dealer allows his customers a discount of 25% and still gains 25%. If an article costs ₹1,440 to the dealer, then its marked price is:

Options:
A) 1,500
B) 1,850
C) ₹2,400
D) ₹2,560
Solution:
Ans: (c)

C.P.  = \(\unicode{x20B9} \)1440

S.P.  = 1440 × 1.25 = 1800[P = 25%]

M.P. = \(\cfrac{S.P.}{Discount\ Multiplier }=\cfrac{1800}{.75}=\unicode{x20B9} 2400\)

hello answer is 2400 use formula cp/mp=75/125 put cp =1440

u are wrong 1440*125*100/75/100=2400
