reasoning (Question: 32168.0 )

if we add 2+3+15+11=31
and in second half if we add 5+7+7+12=31 so why 12 cant be answer

Question:
What comes in place of question mark?


Options:
A) 5
B) 12
C) 13
D) 11
Solution:

As,

3 is diagonally opposite to 7

pattern is (3\(\times\)2)+1 = 7

similarly with 7 and 15, 5 and 11,2 and (?)
