from dices 1&3 we can say that B-F are opp sides...if that is true, then from dices 2&3 E-D becomes the opp faces

Dear student, The given trick is applicable only when there is a single face is common between two positions of a dice. In positions 2 and 3, there are two faces common, so you can not apply this trick.
