in a parallelogram , rhombus consecutive angles are adjacent angle then in this condition why we can not say it is a adjacent angle

Question:
If AB and CD are two parallel lines and PQ is a transversal which cuts AB at P and CD at Q, then \(\angle \)APQ and \(\angle \)PQC are called as:


Options:
A) adjacent angles
B) alternate angles
C) corresponding angles
D) Interior angles 
Solution:
Ans: (d) \(\angle APQ\) and \(\angle PQC\)  are interior angles on the same side of transversal.
