but according to Oxford dictionary we can use both 'gear up for' and gear up to' in the meaning to "to prepare yourself to do something", so i think there should be no error in this question....

Question:
DIRECTIONS: Some part of the sentences have errors and some are correct. Find out which part of a sentence has an error and select the appropriate option. If a sentence is free from error, select ‘No Error’.
Gear up for five days of non-stop shopping and unlimited savings.
Options:
A) Gear up for five days
B) of non-stop shopping
C) and unlimited savings
D) No error
Solution:
Write ‘gear up to’ instead of ‘gear up for’. ‘Gear up to’ means ‘adapt or equip someone or something for a purpose’.
