If 2x² + 5y² +20z² = 4 (xy + yz + 2zx), (z ) then find (x + y)/z.

Options:
A) 6

Solution:
Ans:(a) 2x² + 5y² +20z² = 4 (xy + yz + 2zx), (z )

2x² + 5y² +20z² - 4xy - 4yz - 8zx = 0

(x2 + 4y2 – 4xy) + (y2 + 4z2 – 4yz) + (x2 + 16z2 -8zx)

(x – 2y) ² + (y – 2z) ² + (x – 4z) ² = 0

x = 2y, y = 2z, x = 4z

\(\Rightarrow\)\(\cfrac{x + y}{z}\) = \(\cfrac{4z + 2z}{z}\)   = 6
