Dear Student,

Consider the formula,
Angle = ± ( 30H - 11/2 M) , H= hours and M= minutes

Time is 25 min past 3, so H=3 and M=25
Angle = ±(30*3 - 11/2*25)
= ±(90-137.5)
Answer is neg so take - sign and make it positive.

Angle = -(-47.5)
= 47.5
