Logically this statement is wrong
Science has given us a lot, yet life is becoming more and more convoluted.
I don't know how advancement of science is creating "Pain" as a lively factor in our lives.
Rather life is becoming more and more convoluted.
You can also re-frame sentences from the logical perspective
