The cost of a diamond varies as the square of its weight. A diamond weighting 10 decigrams costs Rs. 32,000. Find the loss incurred when it breaks into two pieces whose weights are in the ratio 2 : 3?

In the question it is given that cost varies as the square of weight.
When diamond is broken , the two pieces are 4 and 6 gram.
So cost will vary as their square i.e. 4^2 and 6^2 i.e 16 and 36.
