If 2x+3.42x-5 = 23x+7, then the value of x is:

Solution:
Ans: (d)
Given equation is 2x+3 . 42x - 5 = 23x+7
or 2x+3. 24x-10 = 23x+7
or 25x-7 = 23x+7
\(\therefore\) 5x - 7 = 3x + 7
2x = 14
x = 7
