From where we get 5/18 when we are calculating the speed of man

Question:
A motorist travels along the boundary of a square field of area 1476225 m2, at 36 km/hr. He returns to starting point in–
Options:
A) 8 min 8 sec
B) 6 min 8 sec
C) 8 min 6 sec
D) 6 min 6 sec
Solution:
Ans: (c) Perimeter of the square field = \(\sqrt{1476225}\)   m

= 4 × 1215 m = 4860 m

speed of the man = 36 km/h

=  36 × \(\cfrac{5}{18}\)

= 10 m/s

Time taken by motorist =  \(\cfrac{4860}{10}\)   seconds

= 486 seconds

= 8 min. 6 sec.
