how will come 1..plz give sol

Question:
If a2 + a + 1= 0, then the value of a9 is:
Options:
A) 2
B) 3
C) 1
D) 0
Solution:
Ans: (c) a2 + a + 1 = 0

multiply by (a –1) both side

(a -1) (a2 + a + 1) = 0

                   a3 - 1 = 0

                         a = 1

So,                   a9 = (1)9 = 1

a + 1/a = -1

a^3 + 1/a^3 = 2

a^9 + 1/a^9 = 2

this is possible only if a^9 = 1/a^9 = 1

thus a=1.

this may be possible solution.
