Which answer is correct tell me pls..

Question:
If 3 tan θ - 4 = 0 and 180° < θ < 270° then cosec θ = _______
Options:
A) \(\cfrac{5}{4}\)
B) \(\cfrac{4}{5}\)
C) \(-\cfrac{5}{4}\)
D) \(-\cfrac{4}{5}\)
Solution:

Ans: (c)

3tan θ – 4 = 0

tan θ = \(\cfrac{4}{3}\)

cosec θ = – \(\cfrac{5}{4}\)

(\(\because\)180° < θ < 270°)

Dear Student,
Given answer is correct.
Given angle is between 180 and 270 degree, it means in third quadrant.
In 3rd quad cosec is neative, therefore - 5/4 is the right answer.
