21+28=49/33 REMAINDER 16

Question:

Two numbers on dividing by 33, gives remainders as 21 and 28 respectively. If the sum of these two numbers is divided by 33, then the remainder will be :

Options:
A) 10
B) 12
C) 14
D) 16
Solution:
Ans: (d) Let the first number be 33 + 21 = 54 & the second number be 33 + 28 = 61

A.T.Q.,

\(\cfrac{54+61}{33}=\cfrac{115}{33}\)

Thus, remaider = 16
