how area of triangle is calculated?

Question:

Three circles with radius 1 cm, 2 cm and 3 cm touch each other externally. Then find out the ratio between the sum of area of all three circles and the area of triangles formed by joining their centers?

Options:
A)

11 : 14

B)

11 : 6

C)

6 :14π

D)

14π : 6

Solution:

Area of the triangle

=12×3×4=6cm2

Because ABC is a right angle triangle

Area of circles =  π12+22+32=14π

Required ratio = 14π : 6

The area of triangle is calculated based on triplets.3,4,5 are form of triplets right. so 3,4 are base and height, then use the triangle formula calculated the area.
