I couldn't understand this step. Please discuss it.

Question:
PQ is a chord of length 8 cm of a circle with centre O and of radius 5 cm. The tangents at P and Q intersect at a point T. The length of TQ is –
Options:
A) \(\cfrac{15}{4}\)
B) \(\cfrac{10}{3}\)
C) \(\cfrac{20}{3}\)
D) \(\cfrac{21}{4}\)

Triangle ORQ and OQT are similar thus QT/RQ = OR/OQ solve it.

Triangles OQT and QRT are similar triangles because in both triangles R and Q are 90 degrees and have a common side QT,so we can write OQ^2/QR^2=QT^2/RT^2, OQ is radius,RQ is half of chord lenght and if QT is x then RT=X^2-16(since QRT is a right angle triangle)
