1. Memorial means an object, often large and made of stone, that has been built to honour a famous person or event.
Eg-
The war memorial was erected in 1950.

2. Savagery means cruel and violent behavior.
Eg-
Again, the study of the evolution of human institutions from the lowest savagery to civilization is essentially a novel branch of research, though ideas derived from an unsystematic study of anthropology are at least as old as Aristotle.

3. Grapevine is a type of climbing plant on which grapes grow.

4. Necropolis - A large cemetery, especially one of elaborate construction in an ancient city.
Eg-
A number of tombs belonging to the Roman necropolis were discovered in 1883.
