how its possible 15a+6 = 3(5a+1)+2
see both part clearly onside its 6 and otherside its comes 5

Question:
When a positive integer n is divided by 5, the remainder is 2.What is the remainder when the number 3n is divided by 5 ?
Options:
A) 1
B) 2
C) 3
D) 5
Solution:
Ans: (a) Let number n=5a + 2

3n=15a + 6, now we represent as a multiple of 3

3n= 3(5a+1)+2

Now, Comparing  the unknown Number Part,

              5a+2   for remainder is 2

      Thus  (5a+1)   remainder is 1

So, when 3n is divided by 5 then remainder will be 1.
