i didnt understand your solution

Question:
When a positive integer n is divided by 5, the remainder is 2.What is the remainder when the number 3n is divided by 5 ?
Options:
A) 1
B) 2
C) 3
D) 5
Solution:
Ans: (a) Let number n=5a + 2

3n=15a + 6, now we represent as a multiple of 3

3n= 3(5a+1)+2

Now, Comparing  the unknown Number Part,

              5a+2   for remainder is 2

      Thus  (5a+1)   remainder is 1

So, when 3n is divided by 5 then remainder will be 1.

Dear Student,
Explanation:-
5) n(a
remainder =2
We can write n= 5a+2.......(i) for unknown number.
for number 3n
we multiply with 3 in equation (i)
3n= 15a+6-----(II)
now we represent (ii) as a multiple of 3 which patters as same as equation (i)
3n= 3(5a+1)+2 -------(III)
Now, Comparing the unknown Number Part,
5a+2 for equation (i) remainder is 2
Thus (5a+1) for equation (II) remainder is 1

Hope You got it.
