A pipe of diameter d can drain a certain water tank in 40 minutes. The time taken by a pipe of diameter 2d for doing the same job is –

Dear Student,

In this question diameter given so we calculate their area by the formula of circle's area= π r^2
Put r=d/2
π(d/2)^2 * 40 = π (d)^2 * T
T=10 min.
