surface area 6*sede ka square hota hai par aap what u do

Question:

The side of a square exceeds the side of another square by 4 cm and the sum of the areas of the two squares 400  cm2   . Then find the total surface area of such figures which is formed by the two cube. Which have dimensions same as the square given above.

Options:
A)

2512  cm2   

B)

2812  cm2   

C)

2112  cm2   

D)

2612  cm2

see we have to find the edges of the two squares.once that is done join the squares on any one face. now find the tsa for that entire ugly figure. we will have 5 faces for 16 and five faces for 12. but one face they will be kissing each other so we have to find that area where they are untouched which is 16^2-12^2
