plz make sure about language (Question: 113317.0 )

ans is 30 bcz acc. language eq are 3x+y=80 and 3x-y=20

Question:

Average age of a teacher and three students is 20 years. If all the three boys are of same age and the difference between the age of the boy and the teacher is 20 years. Then the age of the teacher is equal to. 

Options:
A) 25 years
B) 30 years
C) 35 years
D) 45 years
Solution:
Ans: (c) Let the age of students be x and that of teacher be y then according to given condition we have

3x + y = 4 × 20

i.e., 3x + y = 80 ............. (i)

and y - x = 20 ...............(ii)

\(\therefore\) Now solving (i) and (ii), we get x = 15

y = 20 + 15

y = 35 years
